IMPOSSIBLE PICTURES SCORES A TOUCHDOWN WITH DISH NETWORK
Live action testimonials highlight NFL RedZone Channel
DENVER – August 2, 2010 – Every football fan’s dream is to get close to the field. Now they can with NFL RedZone, a channel created by the NFL Network. Denver’s Impossible Pictures, a leading design and effects studio, was selected by DISH Network to bring the experience of NFL RedZone to life in a series of live-action spots shot in an NFL stadium.
“Our creative task was to capture the passion of great sports TV and harness it to attract new subscribers,” said Joel Pilger, Impossible’s creative director and partner. “This setting was perfect for producing the authenticity our client wanted. Plus it provided backgrounds that were genuine to football for the retail messaging,” said creative lead, Brian Eloe.
DISH Network, the fastest growing pay-TV provider in America, continued a longstanding relationship with Impossible to execute a unique campaign showing fans in the middle of scoring drives and hard-hitting defensive plays. Each segment gives viewers a feel for the thrill of watching football during its most tense and exciting moments. Continued Eloe, “As clients, they are always wonderful to work with. I feel their trust really enables the relationship that DISH and Impossible share.”
The NFL RedZone is channel 155 on DISH Network. On Sunday afternoons during the season, the NFL RedZone will jump from game to game to bring key moments from around the league live as they happen on the field. Impossible’s ability to promote television programming with high-intensity, emotionally driven commercials make it the perfect fit to engage viewers in the unique attributes of NFL RedZone.
